The salvage pool industry consists of a series of area marketing concepts, whereby a large volume of individual units, belonging to a variety of sellers, are pooled together at a centralized location. This pooling process attracts a large number of buyers, thereby creating a competitive bidding situation which would otherwise not exist. Our member locations represent most major insurers who view the salvage pool industry to be a fair, equitable and stable means through which to dispose of their salvage in a competitive market.
